You’ve probably been inundated with this message lately:

Respond to leads faster.

And to be fair...

That's still good advice.

Most firms still aren’t sending out automatic responses across multiple channels.

But recently we came across an interesting observation from someone working with plaintiff firms.

They pointed out that many firms have become obsessed with response time.

Calls go out.

Texts go out.

Follow-up happens.

The CRM gets updated.

Everything looks good on paper.

But there's one problem.

The attorney may still have no idea the lead exists.

In other words...

A catastrophic injury case can enter the system, move through intake, get contacted, and still never reach a decision maker quickly enough.

That's a very different problem.

Because the goal isn't just speed.

The goal is awareness.

The right cases reaching the right people immediately.

As firms continue investing in intake systems, automation, and marketing…

This may become the next competitive advantage.

Not just tracking how fast you responded.

But also seeing how fast did the right attorney know?

The firms that figure out that distinction early may end up signing a lot more of the cases that matter most.

Until next time,
