Quick story about a PI attorney.
This guy is a solid attorney, 12 years in, legitimate track record…
And he mentioned a specific moment last year…
When he got a call from a colleague.
The colleague had a case to refer.
It was a good one.
Serious injury. Clear liability.
The kind of case you want.
But he wasn't calling to give it to this attorney.
He was calling to ask if this attorney knew anything about the guy he'd already decided to send it to.
Someone he'd never heard of.
Solo firm. Three years in practice. Half the track record.
He asked why him.
"I feel like I know him. I see what he's doing. I know how he thinks."
Twelve years building a reputation that was supposed to speak for itself.
It did.
Just not loud enough.
There's a reason certain PI attorneys seem to get referrals from everywhere…
Co-counsel deals, mass tort leads, cases from people they've never met in person.
It's not because they're better lawyers.
More on this in our next email.
