A federal judge just ordered the government to pay nearly $8.6 million after a USPS driver blew through a rural Texas intersection and crashed into a minivan.
The court placed 100% of the blame on the postal driver, calling it “distracted or mindless driving” — not the missing stop sign, and not the plaintiffs’ failure to wear seatbelts.
